VAT will be charged at current rates where applicable.
All works are subject to remeasure on completion in accordance with SMM7.
The price is open for acceptance 30 days from date of submission.
The price is fixed for a period of 3 months from date of tender.
We have assumed the following facilities and services will be provided by yourselves:
A dry safe storage area for our materials.
Fixed scaffolding (stairs atriums).
Removal of all rubbish, debris from a central point (per floor).
Loading of all materials to each floor or full access to hoisting equipment.
In the preparation of our price, we have only allowed for one site visit. Should additional visits be required, these will be charged for accordingly.
The price does not include for working drawings for use by others. Should this facility be required, we would wish to discuss the matter in more detail.
Title to goods supplied and installed shall not pass to main contractor until full payment has been received and in the case of non-payment, the supplier shall be entitled to repossess the goods or proceeds of sale.
Upon completion of our works we will submit our final account within 14 days and require that the account be agreed and finalised by yourselves within 14 days of submission.
The retention monies are to be released in accordance with our sub-contract completion dates:
50% on satisfactory completion of our works.
50% after 6 months defects liability period, this will commence from practical completion of our works.
In the event that as a condition of contract we are requested to consider Liquidated Damages, we must advise that we are only prepared to consider Liquidated Damages to a
value which is on a pro-rata basis to the value of our contract and should not exceed 5% of our contract value per week.
We have included for unloading and distribution of our materials to the points of installation, based upon direct vehicular access being less than 25 metres from the
building entrance. We have included for placing our debris in a central point on each floor’ – ‘for removal by others.
The tender has been priced on working hours 08.00-17.00 Mon – Fri should the need for works to be carried out outside of these hours this can be discussed in more detail.
In the event of any dispute being referred to adjudication you will be liable for all costs relating to both the appointment and costs of the adjudicator.
Any late payments will be subject to interest at 8% above base rate.
Dribuild reserve the right to suspend work, or terminate contract in the event of non-payment.
